Schrott Honey Farm Honey as a Family Tradition

My grandfather, Géza Schrott, was a joiner and kept bees. They lived in a house, at 8 Liszt Ferenc utca, in Kőszeg, where their workshop and honeybees were also located at the back of the garden. When I was a child, he showed me the life of these hardworking and fascinating creatures in their hive.

Our family apiary was founded in 2008 in Kőszeg. We started the farm with only 4 honeybee colonies, but with even greater love and devotion. As a result, we now produce and sell 7 types of honey made by 60 honeybee colonies.

Our apiary is located in Kőszeg, next to a nature reserve.

Our honeys do not contain any additives and are made by honeybees.

The honey frames are removed from the hives before being uncapped and the honey extracted (spun). Finally, the cold honey is bottled.

Special attention is paid to ensure its natural quality.
