Linden honey (sold out) A light brown honey, almost amber in colour that has a pleasant scent of linden with a spicy, slightly minty and bitter flavour. A succulent type of honey.

It is slow to crystallise and light in colour in its crystallised state. It has a beneficial effect on sore throats, coughs and colds. It is used to treat fevers caused by respiratory diseases as well as has antiseptic and antispasmodic properties.

It acts as a nerve sedative and is also useful for treating insomnia as well as restlessness. Its choline content inhibits arteriosclerosis and its healing effect is enhanced when dissolved in linden tea.
